I understand that the M.R.A.I.T. may terminate my training for failure to meet
financial arrangements or violations of M.R.A.I.T. Rules as posted on the web site. I
understand that I may terminate my training at any time with notice to the M.R.A.I.T. and
the refund policy (below) applies. Terms subject to change.
FINANCIAL POLICY
Students are expected to keep the financial agreements made at enrollment. Students unable
to meet the agreements should contact M.R.A.I.T. immediately. Failure to keep financial
arrangements agreed upon, is grounds for student termination by M.R.A.I.T.
Students who terminate (or are terminated ) are subject to the refund policy (see below).
A $35 service charge will be accessed if a check received as payment is returned by the
bank unpaid, for any reason. In the event that an agreed-upon payment is more than 4 days
late, a $15.00 late fee will be charged. Student account information can be released by
the M.R.A.I.T. to a parent or other party that is assisting the student in payment of
tuition or other fees.
REFUND POLICY
Students terminating and requesting a refund within 4 days of the date of the enrollment
agreement and initial payment may receive a full refund of all moneys paid. Applicants who
are not accepted for enrollment are entitled to receive a full refund. Refunds for
materials are subject to their return in "like-new" condition within 4 days of
purchase.
Enrollment Fee: The enrollment fee portion of the tuition guarantees a
seat in a particular seminar and is
therefore not refundable or transferable to another seminar. The enrollment fee is
required upon registration and is included as part of the tuition cost. 50% of the tuition
is due on the first day of class, balance due at the quarter term. (Ex:11 week class
quarter is 3rd week, 4 week quarter is second week)
Refund Terms: Students requesting termination and refund must do so in
writing, mailed certified mail to the M.R.A.I.T. address or hand delivered. No refund will
be paid without a written request .Refunds will be paid by check and mailed to the
requested address (or last address on file) within 30 days of receiving the request.
Students who terminate because of prolonged illness, accident, death in the family, or
other circumstances that make it impractical to complete the course, should request a
"special cases" settlement with the reasons for termination clearly stated and
proof attached.
